In an injunction, the minister stated that it was “disproportionate” the decision taken by judge Pedro Sotero based on investigations from the State Prosecutor.
“There is no uncertainty of the removal of office, resulting from popular election, proving to be disproportionate to its decree, certainly preventing the regular progress of investigations,” he said.
Pre-candidate for the Government of Pará next year, Daniel told the panel on Tuesday (5) that the decision of the local court was interference from Helder, his former ally and current political disaffection.
“It is an arbitrary decision, made monocratically by a judge linked to the Helder government. It is another example of the dictatorship of Barbalho, who has full control over the prosecutor and the judiciary,” he said before appealing.
