Unicamp entrance exam: What is important to study in Portuguese?

Registration for the Unicamp 2026 entrance exam is open until September 1st. In this edition, the selection process – one of the most popular in the country – offers 2,520 vacancies regular in several undergraduate courses.

According to the analysis of SAS Education, the Unicamp entrance exam values interdisciplinarity and the critical thinkingwith tests focused on analytical students and connected with the present. No wonder Examination Portuguese questions prioritize reading competence. Between 2011 and 2024, according to the platform mapping, 294 questions involving the topic were charged.

In general, reading competence is the understandinginterpret and relate present information in, going beyond simple reading and decoding. That is, andNote to identify the main idea and the arguments of a text, relate information with other knowledge and contexts, and even extract information from visual elements such as images and graphs.

After reading competence, the apprehension of meaning and questions involving definition, recognition and interpretation are the Portuguese themes more prevalent in the unicamp entrance exam.
