Federal Deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), arrested in Italy since July 29, has sent a letter to her family members in which she asked for help from influencers Allan dos Santos and Paulo Figueiredo for a campaign on the profiles of Carlo Nordio, Minister of Justice of Italy.
“Try to campaign for people to comment on his profile and ask for me, talk to Allan dos Santos and Paulo Figueiredo to help his audience,” Zambelli said in a letter sent to family members on August 2. The document was obtained by the newspaper S.Paulo Folha.
It is up to the agency headed by Nordio to decide whether Zambelli will remain arrested during the extradition process to Brazil or can be released while awaiting the decision of the process. As showed the Estadãoextradition can last from one and a half to two years.

Zambelli was convicted by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) for requesting a hacker the invasion of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) systems to issue a false arrest warrant against Minister Alexandre de Moraes. The sentence also determines the loss of office in the House. After the conviction, the parliamentarian fled the country, being fugitive from the Brazilian justice. She was arrested in Italy on July 29.
After being arrested in Italy, Zambelli underwent a custody hearing on August 1. Italian justice maintained its detention. The federal deputy is arrested in the Penitentiary of Rebibbia, in Rome.
Like Zambelli, Allan dos Santos is also a fugitive from Brazilian justice. There is an open arrest warrant against the “shock troop” influencer. Paulo Figueiredo was denounced by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) in the coup plot. The influencer is considered the right arm of federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) in the search for sanctions to Brazil by the United States government.

In addition to the conviction for the hacker attack, Zambelli is defendant for wielding a gun against a man in Sao Paulo on the eve of the second round of the 2022 presidential election. Judgment for illegal possession of weapons and illegal embarrassment is paused by a request for view of Minister Kassio Nunes Marques, but there is already a majority among ministers to condemn her.
In parallel to extradition, the process that can lead to the revocation of Zambelli’s mandate in the House. The case is under analysis by the House Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ).
