O ROVER PERSEVERANCE, NASA vehicle that is on Mars To collect samples and analyze the surface, recorded images of the landscape of the red planet on a clean day.
Although it seems that the sky is blue (in the image below), according to the space agency, it is that of an improvement of perseverance, since in reality it is reddish.
The assembly made with 96 photos taken shows two geological units and hills up to 65 kilometers away.
“Stunning views captured by our rover perseverance are just a glimpse of what we will soon bear witness with our own eyes. NASA’s innovative missions, starting with A, will drive our unstoppable journey to leading human space exploration to the Martian surface,” said Sean Duffy, interim space agency administrator.
The photos recorded on May 26, 2025 are the sharp vehicle since the beginning of their mission in February 2021.
Scientists have been able to identify the structure of a large rock that appears to be on a sand ripple, which may indicate to be a “floating rock.”
According to NASA, it was probably formed elsewhere and has been transported to its current location – it can be through a sliding of earth, water or wind.
NASA’s Rover Perseverance has been collecting rocks and dust since landing on Mars in February 2021.
Scientists believe that rescued samples from Jezero crater, the site of an ancient river lake, can be one of the only ways to determine if life has existed on the red planet.
