As soon as Lula entered the scene, a group present in the audience began chanting the phrase “without amnesty”, referring to the request for those responsible for the scammer acts of 8 January 2023 to be punished.
The choir echoed in space while the president greeted authorities and guests. The expression “without amnesty” has been used in different acts and events across the country as a way of pressuring by judicial and political liability of those involved in attacks on the headquarters of the three powers in Brasilia.
Among the authorities present at the event are state and municipal leaders, representatives of social and parliamentary movements, as well as producers linked to the extractive chain, strategic sector for the acrean economy. Lula’s visit also included a pass through Souza Araújo Colony, a reference institution in the treatment of leprosy, before going to the agenda at Cooperacre.
