The Casa Foundation of the São Paulo Government, in July, partnered with the Brazil Solidarity Institute to implement its financial education methodology for employees and adolescents in socio -educational measure.
The initiative includes practical workshops, pedagogical games and training, and has so far impacted more than 1.7 million children and adolescents. Inspired by it, the documentary becoming the game, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the institute was released on August 4.
The implementation of the partnership began focusing on the formation of pedagogical servers, which act as multipliers with adolescents. The first stage was held in April, with 43 servers of 23 centers. For the second cycle, scheduled for August, 40 vacancies were opened among the four regional divisions of the institution.
“The partnership expresses the state’s commitment to public policies that integrate education, citizenship and social reintegration. Empowering servants as multipliers of financial education is to invest in transformative and lasting solutions for adolescents in compliance with socio -educational measure,” says Secretary of Justice and Citizenship of São Paulo, Fábio Prieto.
For Luís Salvatore, president of the Brazil Solidarity Institute, the main message of the film is the transformative potential of education.
“When applied in an accessible, creative and contextual manner, education not only transmits knowledge, it arouses critical sense, strengthens self -esteem and offers people the tools to break poverty cycles, make conscious decisions and build fairer and more sustainable futures,” he says.
