Criticized by governors at the Board of Directors, the deputy (PL-SC) says she carried the baby to breastfeed her and why she depends on her care. He says he was at work ,.

Zanatta is among the parliamentarians who were by governing parties. The deputy was also denounced in the Guardianship Council by Federal Deputy Reimont (PT-RJ).

“It’s absurd what they are trying to do: suspend my mandate just because I was with my daughter Olivia, 4 months, in the plenary,” he says. “It depends on me for breastfeeding and care, and I was at my work, sitting in a safe place, far from agglomerations and confusion.”

The deputy also speaks in an attempt to incriminate her and an attack from the left to her parliamentary freedom. “But now they went further: they want to stop me from being a mother. As the first lady Michelle Bolsonaro, president of the PL Mulher, said, we are in the middle of August, a month dedicated to awareness of the importance of breastfeeding,” he continues. “She recalled that parliamentarians mothers have the right to take their children to the plenary, as they have already done several colleagues, including the pandemic.”

“I will not accept that they attack me to be with my daughter. I will not accept that they try to separate me. I will not accept that policy use this kind of strategy to delegitimize us,” he says.
