From this Friday (8), the population of Epitaciolândia will have a modern minibus to transport patients who need medium and high complexity in Rio Branco and to support the actions of the Community Health Program.

The delivery was made with the presence of Senator Alan Rick-author of the amendment of R $ 611 thousand that made possible the acquisition of the vehicle,-Mayor Sérgio Lopes, Deputy Mayor Serginho, Federal Deputy Roberto Duarte, former federal deputy Mara Rocha and councilors José Henrique and Ari Mendes.

The 23-seater vehicle is electric, has accessibility and air conditioning. In addition to bringing patients to consultations, examinations and specialized treatments in the capital, will also transport the health team in the community, which has already performed 115 editions bringing itinerant medical care to rural neighborhoods and communities.

Alan Rick pointed out that the new vehicle is part of a set of actions to strengthen the health of Epitacioland.

“For this municipality alone, I already allocated R $ 23.4 million in amendments, being R $ 3.6 million for health. Our commitment is to continue to ensure investments that improve infrastructure, expand the reach of services and ensure quality care for the entire population,” he said.

Deputy Mayor Serginho stressed the importance of the new vehicle for patients’ routine and municipal management.

“Many people leave home at three in the morning to arrive in time for consultations in Rio Branco and not only here from Epitaciolândia, no. Those who live in nearby municipalities also use this service we provide to patients they need. Now they will have more comfort and safety. Our health teams in the community as well. I am very happy and grateful for this support of our senator,” he explained.

Mayor Sérgio Lopes thanked the senator for the support and listed other achievements made possible for his amendments.

“Alan has already allocated pickups for health and environmental departments, has ensured resources for units reform, construction and now the coverage of the sunset court. Today, with the minibus, we take another important step to improve the services we provide to the population. It is another investment that strengthens our structure and helps us better who needs it,” he said.
