High temperatures will torment most of Slovakia on Sunday (10 August). The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) issued first and second level alerts. At the same time, there may be storms in the east of the Slovak Republic. Informs about it on his website.

High temperatures, 33 to 34 degrees Celsius, will be on Sunday from 14.00 to 18.00 HV almost all regions except Žilina. The increased warning applies to 35 to 36 degrees Celsius for almost the entire Bratislava, Košice and Nitra regions and districts of Krupina, Lučenec, Revúca, Rimavská Sobota, Veľký Krtíš, Galanta, Dunajská Streda, Hlohovec and Trnava.
SHMU warns of health risks that represent the heat of this degree, as well as at the risk of fire. Meteorologists also issued storm alerts for the whole Košice and Prešov regions and districts Liptovský Mikuláš and Tvrdošín from 14.00 to 20.00.
