There are plenty of natural products to smooth and moisturize the skin. Especially one of them deserves recognition, because it brings spectacular results. I am talking about … linseed, which we consider as a remedy for wrinkles. Find out how it works on the complexion and get to know the recipe for a mask with this ingredient.
It has smoothing, moisturizing and regenerating properties. All this thanks to the individual ingredients contained in this product.
Linseed gel contains lignans and phytoestrogens that have anti -aging. They protect the skin against the development of free radicals, which is why they contribute to smoothing wrinkles. In addition, it also has vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids that increase collagen production. Therefore, your skin will become flexible, firm and gain a young look.
This product abounds in antioxidants that protect against adverse UV radiation. Thanks to this, not only wrinkles are reduced, but also discoloration and dark spots.
It is worth applying linseed to dry skin, which requires regular moisturizing. All this due to the content of the previously mentioned Omega-3 fatty acids. In addition, you can use this homemade mask for skin problems, i.e. acne, eczema or psoriasis, because alpha-linolenic acid reduces inflammation.

Preparing a homemade mask for wrinkles is easy and requires only 2 basic ingredients. Here is the list:
- 2 tablespoons of linseed seeds;
- 1 cup of water.
At the beginning, pour linseed into the pot and pour it with water. Cook the whole on low heat for about 10-15 minutes. A mass with a sticky gel must be created.
When this happens, remove the pot from the heat and set aside its content to cool. Then strain it through gauze or small mesh strainer. You will then get a clean, smooth gel.
In the next step, apply it to the face with a cotton swab, soaked gauze or cotton cloth. Leave the mask on the skin for about 25 minutes. After this time, wash it with lukewarm water.
Finally, we recommend spreading the face with a light moisturizing cream to stop moisture in the skin. Repeat 2-3 times a week for the best effects.
Remember to do an allergic test before applying linseed, applying the mask to a small fragment of the skin. You can use it not only on the face, but also on the neck and neckline.
