Special license of the “alcohumbre amendment” was instituted by the president to streamline analysis strategic projects
The President (PT) issued this Friday (8.ago.2025) an MP (Provisional Measurement) that creates LAE (Special Environmental License), proposed by the Senate President, (Union-AP). The objective of the instrument is to accelerate the licensing of works considered strategic by the body that advises the presidency.

How LAE works

The maximum period for completion of the licensing will be 12 months and may be divided into phases.
