A motorcyclist was arrested in the act on Friday afternoon in Rio Branco after threatening a military police officer who was out of service. The confusion began on a traffic light of Getúlio Vargas Avenue, when the suspect demanded that the policeman, who also drove a motorcycle, would give him a ticket immediately.
According to the police report, the military explained that he could not advance due to red light and intense traffic. The answer annoyed the biker, who honked insistently, said he was a member of the Red Command (CV) and made his hand the gesture known as “Tudo Two”, associated with the criminal faction. The policeman noticed a volume at the man’s waist and suspected it was a weapon, but in the approach, he found that it was only a folded document folder.
The military identified himself as a police officer, but the suspect reacted by saying “not being afraid of police.” Faced with the threat, the agent tried to take the approach, when the man fled at high speed. The policeman followed the motorcyclist to a gas station in Via Verde and called for support from a RP 106 garrison, which was positioned at the scene. With the reinforcement of RP 103, the suspect was finally arrested.
He was taken to the Flagrant Police Station (Defla) without the use of handcuffs, with preserved physical integrity and without injuries.
