The government says it is attentive, and in recent days has received 30 business associations that export to the United States. The textile sector argues that it is necessary to do more.

Throughout the country there are over six thousand companies in the textile and clothing sector. Banco de Portugal’s latest data indicate that two years ago The sector earned more than eight billion euros.
