Chamomile tree, or shrubs, is a stylish proposition for lovers of floral decorations on balconies and terraces. Easy to care, long -turning, but requiring frost protection.
Although colloquially called a “chamomile tree”, this unusual plant has nothing to do with chamomile or even a daisy. Its real name is a shrub pilgrim (Latin Argyranthemum frutescens). It comes from the Mediterranean regions and is a semi -ear that has gained popularity in Central Europe thanks to the possibility of forming in the shape of effective mini -guards.

A characteristic spherical crown is not the result of vaccination like pink or some decorative trees, but the result of careful cutting and leading of the plant from a young age. The main shoot is driven vertically, and the side roots are regularly removed. The final cut of the top stimulates the plant to spread, thanks to which, with proper care, it creates a compact, spherical shape covered with hundreds of flowers resembling margaret.
Shrub golden, despite its delicate beauty, is not an exceptionally capricious plants. However, its beautiful appearance requires regular care and compliance with several key rules. The plant feels best in:
- sunny places – ideal for warm, well -sunny balconies or terraces, protected from the wind,
- fertile and permeable ground – garden soil with the addition of sand or perlite will work best,
- moderate humidity – It should be watered when the top layer of the soil dries, but avoiding shedding,
- regular fertilization -It is recommended to use fertilizers for flowering plants every 1-2 weeks in the season,
- systematic removal of faded flowers – This allows the plant to produce more buds and maintain an attractive look.
In addition, it is worth avoiding soaking leaves and watering directly to the ground. Złocień does not like drafts or rapid temperature changes that can negatively affect its condition.
