The Court of Justice determined, on Wednesday (6), that the City Council installs the CPIs of social interests (HIS) and the floods in the Pantanal Garden.
The two committees were approved at the house plenary. However, leaders of benches linked to the mayor of São Paulo, (), committed to not indicating any names to compose them.
The CPI of HIS aims to ascertain whether companies would be benefiting from tax incentives granted by Nunes Management, but without selling houses to the low -income population. Already the floods should evaluate the causes of floods in regions such as Pantanal Garden, east of the capital.
“We will investigate housing contracts and responsibilities for floods in the Pantanal Garden. We will not rest until the CPIs are working and the facts cleared,” says Councilwoman Luna Zarattini, PT leader in the House.
The two decisions were issued in writ of mandamus filed by the PT. “Justice acknowledged that the voice of the minority cannot be silent. The chamber belongs to the people, and the people want answers,” says Luna.
