The president (PT) appeared, this Sunday (10.ago.2025), in a video next to the first lady Janja, in which she asks for tips on fruit cultivation like Sapoti, Cashew and Umbu. The recording was made at the Palace of the Alvorada, official residence of the Presidency of the Republic, in Brasilia, and published on Instagram.
In the video, Lula comments that there are several Sapoti feet on the property, but that he could never find mature fruits. He also reports that the cashew trees existing in the place “Sora”but do not produce fruits. The president asks people from producing regions, especially from the Northeast, to send information about the ideal period to collect sapoti and suggestions on cashew and umbu planting.
“Anyone who has a big umbu, please send me a foot. Whoever has a sapot, sends me a foot. Who has cashew, send me a foot, because I will plant everything here, so that those who come to live here to the boyfriend has plenty of fruit from the Northeast to eat,” said Lula.
