Palmeiras will not be intimidated by the violent acts performed by a group of criminals and will go to the end for those responsible to be punished with the rigor of the law. The club is already in contact with the Civil Police and will register a police report – all images recorded by the monitoring cameras of the Football Academy will be made available to researchers.
We cannot tolerate, much less normalizing, that football becomes an increasingly toxic environment, where peace is at risk permanently.
In this sense, the club regrets the connivance of several press vehicles that, since the eve of the last Derby, have been advertising – often without any critical sense – the threats made by violent individuals trying to impose themselves on fear.
