On the night of last Friday (8), a passenger who landed from a bus at Cruzeiro do Sul Bus Terminal in Acre had his suitcase stolen. The incident happened around 11 pm, when the collective arrived in the city and the passengers were starting to leave the vehicle.

According to the images from the terminal security cameras, the author of the theft acted in a planned manner, probing the environment carefully before approaching the luggage. He waited for the moment the victim was distracted, taking advantage of the surrounding movement to steal the suitcase without anyone noticing immediately.
The criminal’s rapid and silent action caused material damage to the passenger, who lost important personal belongings. Despite the visual record of the crime, so far, there is no information if it has been registered formalized police report at the local police station.
Authorities recommend that passengers always keep their belongings close and under surveillance, especially in places of great movement, such as bus terminals and transportation stations. The case reinforces the need for greater attention and surveillance to avoid the action of criminals in public environments.
