Vienna – The number of reports from the Austria (ZAÖ) reports to the market surveillance authorities more than doubled in 2024 compared to the previous year: 741 suspicious goods were reported, compared to 366 in 2023, announced on Monday. Batteries, electronic devices, toys and medical devices in particular were the leaders in the risky products. A total of around 136,600 such products were stopped.
