Dream and Price Pools NOTHING TO SEE: Spanish surrendered to Portuguese Park which is the alternative to Disneyland and where tickets cost a third

A themed amusement park is winning visitors of all ages, offering days full of adventures, adrenaline and moments for the whole family. Magikland is located in Penafiel, northern Portugal, and is divided into six thematic areas that recreate scenarios such as Velho West, Africa, a medieval village and other worlds.

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, among the attractions, there are roller coasters, carousels, swimming pools, toboggan, water zones, green spaces and restoration areas. In the same publication, the newspaper of the neighboring country classified the park as the alternative ‘most affordable’ to Disneyland, and praised its “dream pools”.

The park is not open all year round, so it is recommended to consult the official website to confirm schedules. Admission is free for children under two years old, has a cost of 12.50 euros for minors up to 12 years and 19 euros for visitors between 13 and 64.

While a visit to Magikland implies a moderate cost, the experience at Disneyland Paris is substantially more expensive, with prices that start at 70 € per person for a single park.

Economic alternative to international parks

Although it does not have the size or magical environment of destinations such as Disneyland Paris, the park is a more economical and close option for families who want to live a day of fun without supporting the high travel, accommodation and entrances abroad.

Among the most sought after attractions include Dakar cars, carousel planes and shock carts in the Africa area. In the world of confusion are trains, flying elephants, and carousels of goblins.

In addition to the fixed attractions, there are also thematic events and seasonal activities such as live shows, traveling animations and interactive games that add dynamism to the experience. These initiatives vary throughout the year and encourage repeated visits.

Thematic areas for all tastes

In the medieval village, the highlight goes to the Ghost Castle and the daughter -in -law, which offers a panoramic view of the entire enclosure. Already in the Old West, the aquatic carousel and roller coaster are the favorite of visitors. In the pirate’s refuge, the protagonist is a large ship surrounded by artificial lagoons.

The park also has its own areas for picnics and private events, such as birthday parties or school meetings, with reserved zones and personalized programs. This aspect makes it a usual choice for schools and associations in the northern region.

According to, and with a diverse offer and affordable prices, the park remains a popular destination for families and groups looking for a fun day of fun without leaving the country.
