Swedish activist Greta Thunberg announced that on August 31, one will depart from Spain, according to a publication that made this Sunday on Instagram.
“On August 31, we launched the greatest attempt to break the illegal Israeli siege over Gaza with dozens of ships that browse. We will meet with dozens more on September 4 sailing from Tunisia and other ports,” says the announcement, in which in addition to Thunberg several proportional activists participate.
The campaign indicates that the mobilization of “more than 44 countries in simultaneous manifestations and actions to break the complicity in solidarity with the Palestinian people is also sought.” Thunberg was one of the members of the Freedom Flotilla that tried to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza but was intercepted on June 8 by the Israeli army.
