President shared a record in which he claims that tree will bring wisdom for those who govern Brazil
President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) shared, this Sunday (10.ago.2025), a video in which appears planting a seedling of baobá in the garden of the palace of Dawn in Brasilia. In the registry, the president states that the plant is an African symbol and will bring “A lot of wisdom” for those who occupy the presidency of Brazil.
“I hope this baobab will grow here at Alvorada Palace to make people who come to live here, are committed and willing to help Brazil grow […] May each person who lean against this tree comes out more filed ”he stated in the video posted on his profile on X.

In the post caption, the president states that planting the tree is like planting “a piece of eternity” in the land of the Jardim of the Dawn.
“May the land of the palace of dawn, with all the love and care it receives, allow our baobab to create deep roots and cross centuries. Planting this seedling, symbol of resistance, wisdom and longevity, is to plant a piece of eternity,”, wrote in his profile at X.
DAWN
The Dawn Palace is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Brazil. It is on the banks of Lake Paranoá and, besides serving as presidential housing, also receives official ceremonies and visits from heads of state.
The name “Alvorada” refers to the sunrise, symbolizing the beginning of a new era for Brazil at the time of the construction of Brasilia.
