Leaders of eight Nordic and Baltic nations jointly reaffirmed their support for Ukraine on Sunday and said peace could only come through consistent pressure on the Russian Federation to interrupt his “illegal” war.

The leaders of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Letonia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden said in a statement that they “reaffirm the principle that international borders should not be changed by force.”

They added that they will continue to defend and impose restrictive measures against the Russian Federation.
