The opposition parties welcome the decision to cancel the tender for the ambulance. PS, SaS and KDH continue to take the Minister of Health Kamil Šaško (Voice-SD). The parties stated this in response to the Minister Monday’s opinion in which he informed of the cancellation of the tender.
“We welcome this statement. Of course, But we want to warn him that he should not be played by a generous rescuer of the company, because this cowardly tender was caused by him. We do not see a reason to be after such a cowardly tender where they are direct suspicion of political corruption, Minister Kamil Šaško avoided his political responsibility, ”said Peter Stachura, a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for opposition KDH.
The leader of the opposition PS Michal Šimečka criticized the Minister that he had announced the decision instead of the announced press conference by video. However, he must continue to end. “Either he knew all the links and political corruption, and it was all his butter on his head, or he didn’t know, and then he is a weak minister, followed by the ministry by his officials and the oligarchs in the background,” noted.
The opposition SaS also insists on Šaška’s resignation. According to her, the decision to abolish the tender confirmed that the opposition criticism was justified. She recalled that there were still many unanswered questions in the selection procedure. “However, this is a huge number of errors and special images of circumstances. Under these conditions, the right solution would also be the appeal of Minister Šašek, ” The party noted.
Opposition Movement Slovakia welcomed the decision to abolish the tender. “It was also worthwhile during the summer – the thief tender will be canceled and two billion lives are saved for the time being,” she said.
The Minister of Health reported on Monday that he will charge the operation of the Emergency Medical Service (OSS) from Tuesday (12 August) A new statutory representative who will take all the necessary steps in the next possible time to legal cancellation for the ambulance tender. He justified the decision with the first results of the analyzes applied for last week by the Operational Center. According to the Minister, they showed the existence of legal uncertainty, which could allow a different interpretation of the legal regulation of the ongoing tender. At the same time, according to him, the transparency of the whole process could be endangered.
The tender for the ambulances was criticized by the opposition and the CIS coalition. In this context, the opposition parties filed a petition to pronounce custody in Parliament in Parliament. MEPs should negotiate a petition on Wednesday (13 August) at an extraordinary meeting.
Šaško declared that he would not allow scandals or “business”. The head of the OSS SR OS Marián Povolný resigned on Monday.
