André Clovis was the protagonist of the first goal of the Viseu Academic in the visit to the Union of Leiria, counting for the first round of the II League and, together with his colleagues, dedicated the moment to Jorge Costa, former coach of the club, who died last week at the age of 53.
The coach, nicknamed “Animal”, directed Viseu Academic in season 2022/23, when he led the Academic to win 20 wins in 34 games. Subsequently, he went to AVS, a team that guided until the rise to the first league.
