The family can’t wait? While waiting for silage, prepare equally delicious vegetables in a sharp reservoir. On the second day you can cut them into sandwiches or add to dinner instead of salad. We present a simple recipe for preparations without pasteurizing.
We choose fresh medium -sized ground cucumbers for preserves. Lieutenant are not a good choice, because they quickly soften, and yet each of us cares about crunchy vegetables.
Cucumbers without pasteurization are made in the sugar-effective pickup. You don’t have to worry about such a large amount of sugar, because it will be absorbed partially. Vegetables will not come out too sweet.
In this recipe, we give 3 teaspoons of chili petals, thanks to which the preserves are quite sharp. However, this amount can be reduced by half.
What ingredients do we need to make cucumbers from chili? Here is the exact list:
- 3 kg of ground cucumbers;
- 500 g cukru;
- 1 head of garlic;
- 1.5 cups of spirit vinegar;
- 8 tablespoons of oil;
- 3 tablespoons of salt;
- 3 teaspoons of chili flakes.
At the beginning, clean the cucumbers thoroughly, then peel them and cut them in half or quarters and throw them into a bowl. Then cover the vegetables with salt and set aside from 3 to 5 hours.
After this time, pour water from vegetables and heat the oil. Then pour the cucumbers with it and mix carefully.
In the next step, start cooking vinegar with sugar until the sweetener dissolves. Pour the pickle on the vegetables, add chili flakes and peeled and crushed garlic cloves. Mix everything and set aside for 3 hours. Weight a bowl with a plate or a jar of water.
Finally, arrange the chili cucumbers tightly in previously cleaned and scalded jars. If you have some pickle in a bowl, pour vegetables with it. Stop the dishes firmly and put them in a dark and cool place.
Cucumbers prepared in this way without pasteurization will be able to eat the next day. However, they taste best after a week.
