The exports of Brazilian agribusiness reached in July the bigger level of the historical series for the month. In the period, the sector counted US $ 15.6 billion in sales abroad.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, this year’s result represents a 1.5% increase in comparison with July 2024. The increase of US $ 225 million was driven by both the increase in the shipped volume and the price increase.
Other products have also registered strong growth in the period, such as apple juice (+623%), smoke (+91.5%), bananas (+79%), eggs and gems (+62%), leather and skins (+57%), fruits (+37.3%) and meat (+16.7%), especially beef.
