After a week without major votes and a movement of occupation of the Plenary, party leaders and the mayor, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), discuss the house’s voting agenda on Tuesday. The meeting will be held from 10am.

Among Motta’s priorities is the discussion about the protection of children and adolescents on the Internet, driven by the repercussion of Youtuber complaints and Felca influencer.

Last week, an urgent request to accelerate a project on the topic was on the plenary agenda, but was not voted on by the blocking of the work.

The opposition, responsible for locking the votes the previous week, presses for the advancement of projects that aim at the Supreme Court (STF). After blocking legislative activities, such anti-STF package articles were again articulated.

The group claims the analysis of the amnesty project for the convicts of January 8, 2023. The text, however, has no support from most benches.

The opposition also calls for the analysis of two proposals for amendment to the Constitution: one on the end of the privileged forum and the so -called “PEC of prerogatives”, which establishes the need to endorse Congress to open criminal actions against parliamentary and limits congressional arrests.

While the amnesty’s agenda faces resistance, CNN has found that the two PECs are supported among Centrão members and therefore may be more likely to move forward.

On another front, the ruling base expects priority guidelines for the executive to advance in the coming weeks. This is the case of the bill that expands the exemption of income tax (IR) for those who earn up to $ 5,000 per month. The text has already been approved in a special committee and awaits the vote in the plenary.
