Baronna is a dessert that impresses with an appetizing appearance and light taste. It consists of a fluffy sponge cake, which is a base for a creamy cheese mass. This one is prepared with mascarpone, natural yogurt and vanilla, and stiffened with gelatin. The whole is topped with a layer of forest fruit jelly, in which fresh raspberries, blueberries, blackberries are embedded And every other seasonal fruit you want.
It is a light and refreshing cake, which will be great as a dessert for a summer party, family celebrations, communions, birthdays or simply as a sweetness for the weekend. It looks very appetizing and tastes just as good. Each layer harmonizes with each other, creating a delicious whole.
Ingredients:
Bottom:
- 3 eggs,
- 90 g cukru,
- 90 g of wheat flour,
- A pinch of salt.
Cheese layer:
- 250 g sera mascarpone,
- 100 g of powdered sugar,
- 800 ml of natural yogurt,
- vanilla sugar package,
- a bit of vanilla extract,
- 4 teaspoons of gelatin powder,
- 60 ml of cold water.
Layer with jelly:
- 500 g of mixed fruit (e.g. raspberries, blueberries, blackberries),
- 2 jellies forest fruit,
- 500 ml of boiling water.
Method of performance:
Separate the protein from the yolks. Beat a stiff foam with a pinch of salt. Gradually add sugar, continuing to whip until the mass is shiny. Add one yolk, mixing all the time. Finally, gently mix in the sifted flour – preferably with a spoon or spatula.
Pour the dough into a 24 cm cake tin, lined with baking paper.
Bake at 170 ° C (top-down) for about 35 minutes, to a dry stick. Cool and leave in shape.
Pour gelatin with cold water and let stand for 10 minutes to swell. Mascarpone with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and extract to a smooth mass. Gradually add yogurt, stirring constantly.
Heat the gelatin gently (don’t cook!) Until it dissolves completely.
Add 2 tablespoons of cheese mass to gelatin, mix thoroughly and pour back into the rest of the mass, mixing.
Pour a whole cheese mass on the sponge cake in a cake tin. Align the top and put in the fridge.
At this time, make jelly, pouring it into boiling water and stirring thoroughly. Set aside to cool.
Put the dough from the fridge, put the washed fruit on top and pour the solid jelly. Put to cool.
