AASP (Association of Lawyers) will bring together ministers, judges and academics at its annual meeting, which will take place from 28 to 30 August in Campos do Jordão (SP).
There will be debates on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Tax Reform, Public Security, Sustainability, Environmental Justice, Civil Procedure, Alternative Methods of Conflict Resolution and Family Law.
Among the confirmed names are ministers of the Superior Court of Justice, judges, federal judges, and experts such as Cassio Scarpinella Bueno, Dora Cavalcanti, Marcel Leonardi, Ana Luiza Maia Nevares, Sebastião Reis Júnior and José Eduardo Cardozo.
The inaugural conference will be lecture by journalist Caco Barcellos, with the theme of intergenerational relations in technology and innovation times.
“We are promoting a plural space, with distinct and complementary views of law, being a meeting point between legal tradition and innovation. It is a call for law to follow the world’s changes with critical sense and technical preparation,” says the entity’s president, Renata Castello Branco Mariz de Oliveira.
