The MDB State Executive Committee in Acre summoned a convention for August 29, 2025, from 8am to 12pm, at its headquarters in Rio Branco. The agenda includes the election of the state directory, with 71 holders and 23 alternates, as well as the choice of delegates for the National Convention and the Ethics and Discipline Commission. The members of the new state executive committee will also be elected, including president, vices and secretaries.

A members of the State Directorate, party representatives in Congress and Legislative Assembly, may participate in the vote, as well as municipal delegates. The process will follow the rules of party statute, with direct and secret vote for the main decisions. The accumulation of positions is allowed, except for candidates who integrate more than one plate, except native members.
The resolution was signed by the chairman of the Executive Committee, Vagner José Sales, in Rio Branco, on August 11. The event marks the party’s internal reorganization in the state, defining its leadership and structure for the coming years.
