Natura profits $ 195 million in the 2nd tri after loss one year before

Natura reported consolidated net income of R $ 195 million in the second quarter, a reversal of the loss of R $ 859 million recorded a year earlier, according to a report of results released on Monday (11).

EBITDA (profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of the company was R $ 795.6 million in the same period, a 4.5% increase compared to the recurring EBITDA of the second quarter of 2024.

The data reflects the reclassification of Avon International and Avon Central America and the Dominican Republic as kepts kept for sale, and last year both were accounted for as discontinued operations.

Natura Natura’s net income totaled R $ 444.8 million in the second quarter, also a reversal of the loss of R $ 872.8 million reported a year earlier.

The group, which incorporated the Natura & Co controller in a restructuring operation in June, reached net revenue of $ 5.7 billion in the second quarter, decline from 1.7% year to year, a revenue below an average expectation of $ 7.5 billion analysts, according to estimates compiled by LSEG.
