The result of the ballistic confrontation exam, held by the Institute of Criminalistics, compared the ammunition found in the body of the victim with projectiles seized in the most recent case, involving the death of lawyer Juliana Chaar Marçal, which took place on June 21 this year, during a confusion in front of the Dibuteco Nightclub in the Acre capital.
According to the investigation, in the June episode, Keldheky Maia fired shots at Dhiones Siqueira Passos and Ledo Patrício da Silva Almeida Júnior, who were not hit. Soon after, Juliana was hit by a Toyota Hilux pickup truck, led by Diego Passos, and died at the scene. The pistol was in the vehicle.
The inquiry points out that Victor Viny was shot at his brother’s house, in Brasilia Street, Vila Bethel neighborhood. The author of the shots, Miquésio Gomes da Costa, was arrested weeks later, but did not reveal the whereabouts of the pistol, which now appears linked to the lawyer. The circumstances of how the weapon, once in possession of a homicide, has reached Keldheky Maia are investigated.
Keldheky Maia was arrested preventively on August 8, and had the custody kept at the hearing. Judge Alesson José Santos Braz, of the 2nd Court of the Jury Court, highlighted the severity of the conduct, the risk to public order and the social repercussion of the case. Despite being primary and has a fixed address, the lawyer will remain arrested in a state room or special cell in the Special Operations Battalion (BOPE), due to the prerogative of the profession.
The lawyer’s defense requested the replacement of the prison for precautionary measures, but the request was denied. The Public Prosecution Service defended the maintenance of pre -trial detention.
