This Tuesday (12) starts the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores, with six Brazilian teams among the 16 that remain in the dispute for the champion cup.
Sao Paulo, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Botafogo, Internacional and Fortaleza, which add up to 12 titles, are the Brazilian representatives in the knockout of the continental competition.
Carioca’s red-black, three-time Libertadores champion, and Colorado of Porto Alegre, who won twice, make the only confrontation of the round of 16.
São Paulo and Palmeiras, who also won each other, face Atletico Nacional, from Colombia, and Universitario, from Peru, respectively.
Current champion, Botafogo faces Ecuador’s LDU. Already Fortaleza, which equaled its best campaign, also having advanced until the round of 16 in 2022, takes the Vélez Sarsfield of Argentina.
