A fast and brave act prevented a fire principle from causing great damage to a store in the Habitasa neighborhood of Rio Branco this week. According to security cameras images, a homeless person tried to set fire to the establishment, but the action was interrupted by an unidentified woman who removed a cloth on fire before the fire spread.

The case happened in front of the trade and was recorded in video. In the images, you can see the moment when the suspect approaches and begins the act. A few seconds later, the woman appears, removes the burning material and prevents the flames from reaching the structure of the venture.

In a publication on social networks, the owners of the store thanked the woman’s attitude. “We want to thank the attitude immensely, which avoided greater damage,” says the note.

The episode also lights an alert to the increase of the homeless population in the region and for occurrences involving this group, which have generated concern among traders and residents.
