O Youth led the best on top of the Corinthians This Monday (11), in Alfredo Jaconi. The home team won 2-1 the duel valid for the 19th round of the Brazilian Championship. Gabriel Taliari and Matheus Babi secured victory. Matheuzinho discounted.
With the result, Youth follows in the vice-lantern, with 14 points, but ends fasting of victories. Corinthians falls a position, and now is the 13th with 22 points. Timão has not won for five games in the competition.

Coming from a classification in the Brazilian Cup in the middle of the week, Corinthians dominated the ball, but saw the youth finish the first half at the scoreboard, with a beautiful header of Gabriel Taliari.
The first goal came out on 26 minutes: Marcelo Hermes crossed from the left and Taliari climbed, headed hard and puffed out the nets. Corinthians went in search of the result, but bumped into the defense of the home team and went to the locker room at a disadvantage.

2nd Youth Time 2 x 1 Corinthians
Youth threatened in the first minute with Luis Mandaca, but stopped in Hugo Souza. The home team continued to bet on counterattacks, and the best chance of Corinthians was in head of Talles Magno.
Youth supported the advantage on the scoreboard with good defense and continued creating. Timon could not convert ball possession into goals and had the nets leaked again at 35 of the second half.
Nenê escaped from the left, won the body of Matheuzinho, entered the area and touched the middle. Matheus Babi received the pass and sent to the goal. After VAR review, the goal was validated.

In the final stretch, Ángel Romero received a red card for arrival in Jadson and the team from São Paulo finished the match with one less.
