Brasília-Brazil has presented an aid package for companies that are affected by the greatly increased US tariffs. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva initially relies on talks instead of retaliation in the dispute with the United States. “We will insist on negotiations, but our sovereignty is inviolable,” said Lula in the capital Brasilia on Wednesday. “We do not announce any countermeasures. We initially do not want to do anything that could justify a deterioration in our relationships,” said the left -wing politician.
