Europe and the US strengthened cooperation before Trump’s meeting with Putin: They agreed on a common goal

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and President of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen After video conference with US President Donald Trump and European leaders, they confirmed that the common goal of Europe and the US remains to achieve peace in Ukraine. Both evaluated joint negotiations very well, TASR reports according to AFP and Reuters report.

“(Europe and the US) are uniform in an effort to end this terrible war and achieve a fair and permanent peace,” Has Rutte on the X platform. “I appreciate Trump’s leadership and close cooperation with the Allies.
