No fly will fly to yours at home. Dilute with water and spray in the air
In the summer, flies fly into the houses through open windows and doors, lured by the smell of food, rotting leftovers or moisture. Sometimes we bring them unconsciously on clothes or in shopping bags. They find ideal conditions for development in trash bins, uninteresting dishes, and even in pots with flowers. Their buzzing is irritating, and what is worse, flies carry bacteria and viruses that can cause diseases. Sitting on food, they pollute them, creating a risk of food poisoning. Their presence is particularly undesirable in the kitchen and where we eat meals. That is why no one is surprised that each of us is looking for an effective home. It is worth focusing on fragrances, which will also affect other insects that will host in our interiors. Dilute this liquid with water and spray the mixture in the air in those rooms where flies fly and will quickly leave.
Prepare a spraying aerosol from home
It is worth knowing that some fragrances, such as lavender, mint, basil or eucalyptus oil, are deterrent to flies. Therefore, prepare and spray it in each room of your house or apartment. Add 20 drops of essential oil to 0.5 liters of water. It’s best to choose the one whose flies do not like, i.e.
- Lavender,
- Eucalyptus,
- Mint,
- Citric,
- Geranium,
- Lemon grass,
- Cinnamon.
Pour the mixture into a bottle with an atomizer and spray in the interior of the apartment. Also spray with areas where flies appear: windows, doors, kitchen countertops, around the trash can. Avoid spraying food directly.
