Minister of Economics Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer (ÖVP) clearly has the political hit of the summer. In mid -July, his house sent the planned electricity management law into the parliamentary assessment, which should regulate the rules of the game for the domestic electricity market. The interest in the complex legal text is huge: 348 partly detailed statements have so far been received by the National Council. Companies, associations, private individuals and federal states comment on the project, the number of statements will increase significantly until the end of the assessment period on Friday.
