The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, will be the great presence expected at a lunch next Saturday (! 6), in the interior of the state. He was invited by Brazilian businessman Alexandre Bettamio, from Bank of America. In the guest list are important businessmen from Faria Lima, in São Paulo, and leaders of financial institutions. The event is scheduled to take place at Bettamio’s house, at Fazenda Boa Vista, a condominium known by the authorities.

On the same day, also in the capital, Romeu Zema, governor of Minas Gerais, will have the pre-candidacy for the presidency of the Republic launched at a party event, the new. The launch will be in the state capital, expecting to bring together political leaders, affiliates and supporters of the right.

While Zema officially places herself as a candidate on the right to the Planalto Palace in 2026, Tarcisio, so far, has never openly admitted the dispute of office. In public and official speeches, and even privately, the governor has told people close to being a candidate for reelection to the São Paulo government, and that the name of the right will be defined by former President Jair Bolsonaro. Nevertheless, among São Paulo entrepreneurs, Tarcisio’s name is seen with enthusiasm.

Other governors on the right, such as Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado, and Paraná, Ratinho Jr., as well as Eduardo Leite, from Rio Grande do Sul, also appear as pre-candidates and has been circulated by the state of São Paulo in recent times.
