Data from the first two quarters of the year in Portugal: more than half remained without employment, 27% got a job.
The National Institute of Statistics (INE) published updated data on the job in Portugal, namely flow statistics between states of the labor market, comparing the first with the second quarter this year.
In the statistics this Wednesday, INE highlights that more than half (54.2%) of people who were unemployed in the first quarter continued jobless Until June. There are almost 200,000 people in this situation.
The second largest “slice” is 27,3% (almost 100,000 people): They were unemployed until March but in the meantime get a job.
