Sao Paulo took advantage of an unfortunate night of midfielder Cardona, who wasted two penalty charges, and tore off a 0-0 draw with Atletico Nacional, on Tuesday (12), in Medellin, for the round of 16 of Libertadores.
13 minutes into the first half, Cardona sent the first charge out. Already at 22 of the final stage, stopped in the defense of Rafael. The experienced shirt 10 left the field under applause, but kicked the bench and did not contain the tears.
At the Atanasio Girardot stadium, the Colombian team still created two other clear chances, but hit the post in both submissions.
