The US government raised more than $ 28 billion in customs tariffs in July, $ 1.3 billion more than in June, the Treasury Department said on Tuesday (12).
In total, the country raised US $ 135.7 billion in customs tariffs since the beginning of the fiscal year in October, largely due to Donald Trump’s tariff offensive.
The value is more than double the $ 62.7 billion collected in the same period of the previous year, according to Treasury data.
