The national team won the first four matches, Tunisia, Chile, Bulgaria and Thailand, all by 3 sets at 0, but was eventually defeated by the Japanese team last Tuesday by 3 to 1, with 24/26, 25/17, 25/22 and 25/22 partials.
South Korea, in turn, was surpassed by the United States and China, but won the Dominican Republic and Croatia, guaranteeing third place.
World Cup groups
To the preliminary phase, 24 SELECTIONS were divided into Four groups with six teams in each. The dispute is for Pointswith each team playing five matches. The first phase happens in five days, with all selections playing with each other in the same group. The top four selections advance to the round of 16. The last two of the groups compete for playoffs for positions from 17th to 24th.
