If everything works as currently targeted, the criminal trial against René Benko could begin at the Innsbruck Regional Court on October 20. This opens up from the protocol of the latest prison examination hearing, which took place on August 6th at the Vienna Criminal Court. Benko, who has been in custody in the Josefstadt prison since January 24, had previously submitted a request for privies – unsuccessfully. The Signa founder must remain in custody, which has been decided by the responsible judge.
