Amazonas will lose space in 40 years than Spain

Manaus – around 52 million hectares of nature have been lost in the Brazilian Amazon region since 1985 – an area larger than Spain. Nationwide, the loss has been added to 111.7 million hectares – more than three times the area of Germany – the Mapbiomas initiative said. The network consists of universities, non -governmental organizations and technology companies and examines, among other things, satellite images.
