The book Orleir Cameli, a man ahead of his time It will be launched in Cruzeiro do Sul on September 27, at Teatro dos Náas, at 7 pm. The work has 455 pages and brings together 75 testimonials and photographs that portray the former governor’s trajectory from birth in a rubber tap to his arrival at Rio Branco Palace.
Written from 2010, the work paused in 2013 with the death of Orleir Cameli and was resumed in 2016. The book does not address controversy or opponents, focusing on the legacy of the former governor, his dedication to work, his visionary personality and his role as a charitable grandfather and figure.

In addition to the launch in Cruzeiro do Sul, the work will also be presented in Rio Branco, Brasileia, Sena Madureira and Tarauacá. Orleir Messias Cameli was mayor of Cruzeiro do Sul between 1993 and 1994 and Governor of Acre from 1995 to 1999, died on May 8, 2013. He was the uncle of former Governor Gladson Cameli.
