In his speech he then said that a “international team of experts” would help “verify the causes” of the murder.
Six suspects in the case, including the 15 -year -old who shot the senator, remain in custody.
Colombia’s intelligence services consider that the former FARC is guerrillas, Segunda Marquetalia (“Second Marcelia”, the name refers to a historic battle), was behind the murder.
