The Federal Police launched, on the morning of Thursday (14), the operation addicted to investigate alleged crimes against the public administration in contracts signed by the City of Tarauacá in 2020.

The findings began from the analysis of tax documents and purchase contracts, with federal resources, rapid testing for dengue detection. According to the PF, the unit value of the products purchased was more than double the price practiced on the market.
During the investigation, evidence was gathered that indicate possible overpricing exceeding 100%, directing in the bidding and collusion between public agents and representatives of the supplier company. The damage to the public coffers is estimated at R $ 282 thousand.
This Thursday, federal police officers served five search and seizure warrants and one vehicle kidnapping, all in Rio Branco. The court orders were issued by the Federal Court in Cruzeiro do Sul.
The investigated may be responsible for bidding and criminal association crimes, among other infractions provided for by law.
